Peer coaching - find new solutions with your peers

Dear colleague,

Through this form, you can register for the peer coaching at VU Amsterdam.
PhD candidates and postdocs who are affiliated with VU Amsterdam until at least October 2026 are invited to participate in the peer coaching.

Participation as a peer is free of charge, but not without commitment. Peer coaching only works if everyone is actively involved and attends the sessions.
For facilitators, we ask a contribution of € 85 to cover part of the costs. This fee will be charged to your department.
As a peer, you are required to participate in five peer group meetings of 1,5 to 2 hours each - approximately 10 hours in total - in the
period from March to October 2026. The time investment also includes time to read the reader you will receive.
As a facilitator, you are required to attend the entire training course (4x 2 hours plus 1 hour individual coaching) and to
guide five peer group meetings of 1,5 to 2 hours each - so approximately 20 hours in total - in the period March to October 2026. The time investment also includes time to read the reader you will receive.

Training schedule facilitators
Workshop 1 - Monday 9 March 2026, 15.30-17.30 hours
Workshop 2 - Tuesday 14 April 2026, 15.30-17.30 hours
Workshop 3 - Monday 1 June 2026, 15.30-17.30 hours
Individual coaching (1 hour per facilitator) - in the week of 29 June 2026
Workshop 4 - Thursday 3 September 2026, 15.30-17.30 hours

PhD facilitators will receive a certificate for following all training sessions (0,5 EC).

To cover part of the costs, we ask you as facilitator for a contribution of € 85.
This contribution is charged to your department.
VU Learning & Development reserves the right to cancel the peer coaching if there are not enough participants.
In connection with the cancellation policy of the trainer, participants will be notified approximately 1 month before the start of the programme.
