Meeting Point Leiden University, in collaboration with foundation UAF and IncLUsion - Leiden University, hereby invites you to celebrate spring by joining us for the Spring Dinner & Walking Tour on Thursday 21 May from 17:00 to 21:00 at Plexus Student Centre, Kaiserstraat 25, 2311 GN Leiden. This is an excellent opportunity to (re)connect with your peers, enjoy delicious food, and socialize. Additionally, if you would want to, you can showcase your culinary creativity and culinary culture.
This year’s theme is “To New Beginnings.”
We are organizing a guided walking tour “Discover the History of Leiden University.” During this tour, you will discover stories of Spaniards and rebels, the French Emperor Napoleon and a stubborn professor, Einstein, and the coldest place on Earth, as well as many other fascinating stories.
The tour will be led by Harmen Breedeveld and will take place from 17:00 to 18:30, starting at Plexus Student Centre, Kaiserstraat 25, Leiden. The tour will be in English so that all participants can follow.
Afterwards, we will enjoy a wonderful Potluck Dinner together, form 18:30 - 21:00. You will have the chance to connect with fellow students through a social bingo activity and exchange stories, experiences, and hopes for the future. We hope these conversations will inspire you!
