SMTA criteria

The Sustainable Master Thesis Award is assessed across five criteria. We would like you to argue how your thesis scores across these criteria.

1. Social and Environmental Impacts (max 300 words): How does your thesis have the potential to make a sustainable impact? Use SDG's to substantiate your argument; information on SDG's can be found through this link. *

2. Practical application (max 300 words): How can/does/did your thesis contribute to concrete outcomes or real-world applications to improve sustainability? *

3. Innovation (max 150 words): How does your thesis take an innovative or creative approach to sustainability within your discipline? *

4. Research practice (max 150 words): How did you make sure your thesis was conducted sustainably? *

5. Science communication (max 150 words): How did you make sure your thesis outcomes could be interpreted outside of the academic field? (Example: writing style, accessible summary, etc.) *
