When the form is opened, names will be retrieved from the results of the staff form. 
When a name is chosen then the e-mail address is retrieved from the staff form. This will also be used for sending out an auroresponder message.

After the dates have been specified, using an enhanced validation there will be checked if there are sufficient day's left for the selected dates for this person. If not, a warning alert will appear and the form cannot be sent.

The number of working days does not include weekends and national holidays. The general lookup form 'Days' is used for this purpose. 
After choosing a name the entitled number of leave days for the year is retrieved from the staff form. 
Using an internal lookup, the number of used days for this employee regarding this year is calculated. 
A calculation which subtracts the specified number of leave days and the used leave days from the total number of entitled leave days. 
You are requesting leave from [datumvan] untill [datumtot]. 2 hidden fields retrieve the written date from the 'Days' form and place it within this text item.
